Church leader, when it comes to equipping parents to disciple their children…
It’s time to move beyond lobby pamphlets or generic products.
Most church family ministry remains focused on products, programs, or pamphlets…
and falls short of being relevant to the pressing needs everyday parents have in the discipleship of their children.
Family on Purpose Objectives:
Helping parents discover and understand their unique, God-called purpose.
Defining the family values that shape real-world decision-making in areas like activity scheduling, media consumption, and family togetherness.
Applying Jesus' Great Commandment through each season of parenting in the places we live, work, play, and serve.
Capturing everyday moments in car rider lines, travel ball trips, and late-night rehearsals as a core part of discipling children.
Repositioning discipleship as happening toward something, not just happening to someone.
Charting the course for intentional parenting by living as a family on purpose.

Using Deuteronomy 6:6-9 as its foundation, the Family on Purpose journey begins with a four-session parent’s gathering (usually in a retreat setting) followed by a 6 to 12-week small group study adapted to fit your church’s ministry model. Each video teaching session has a listening guide and interactive questions for small group discussion, table interaction as a family, and meaningful conversation as parents (or with a trusted friend if single parenting). Our mission is simple: building strong families by equipping on-purpose parenting in the local church.
